  • Steve has worked as Music Director, Arranger/Orchestrator, or as a musician on numerous shows over almost 30 years.

    Music Direction

    Recent shows Steve has MD'd include productions of Legally Blonde (Assembly Halls, Tunbridge Wells), School Of Rock, Our House, Sister Act, Annie Get Your Gun (Orchard Theatre, Dartford), Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop Of Horrors (Edinburgh Fringe) and Jekyll & Hyde.

    He is a Music Director on the Musical Theatre faculty at one of the leading musical theatre colleges, working with students on further and higher education courses. Steve is trained in the Estill methodology for working with vocalists.

    ImageOrchestration, Arrangement and Music Prep

    Steve undertakes orchestration, arrangement, and music prep work for shows, and is an advanced Sibelius user.

    ImagePiano / Keyboard Player

    In addition, he regularly plays for productions in the UK, and has recently performed fly-on cruise shows with "Beyond The Barricade", the longest running theatre concert tour in the UK.

    Steve has a full Mainstage rig for performances, and has been hired to provide custom Mainstage programming for shows. Programming is also available for hire. See the Mainstage page for details.
